Playboy founder and one of America’s biggest icons, Hugh Hefner, passed away in his mansion today. It is the only thing that the internet is talking about today. Hefner died of natural causes at 91. In a statement to the media, his son, Cooper Hefner said, “My father lived an exceptional and impactful life as a media and cultural pioneer and a leading voice behind some of the most significant social and cultural movements of our time in advocating free speech, civil rights and sexual freedom. He defined a lifestyle and ethos that lie at the heart of the Playboy brand, one of the most recognizable and enduring in history. Hefner took a progressive approach not only to sexuality and humor, but also to literature, politics and culture.”
Sherlyn Chopra also took to social media to express her feelings about the demise of the icon. She posted her selfie with Hugh on Instagram and wrote, “#restinpower #restinpeace #hughhefner #trailblazer A true #visionary who chose to not conform to the #dogma set by the self-proclaimed guardians of the society but instead followed his #bliss by acting on his #excitement consistently”. The business tycoon was a rage and literally lived every guy’s dream. (ALSO READ: Playboy founder Hugh Hefner passes away at the age of 91)

Hefner is survived by his wife, Crystal, and four children, two of which manage the Playboy magazine. Playboy started off as an erotic magazine and was under constant criticism for its content. In fact, Hefner even decided to go all sanskari for a while but it didn’t last for a long time. The magazine brought back the content it was popular for and remains as one of the most successful magazines till now.
