Hai Hai Mirchi…Uff Uff Mirchi
Remember this song from the 90’s blockbuster movie Biwi Number 1? Well that is exactly what comes to mind after seeing Rashami Desai’s Karva Chauth look from her show Dil Se Dil Tak.
We all know that ‘RED’ is the color Indians associate with Dulhan and Suhagan (Brides and Married Women). It symbolizes the color of life – a new life and also associated with love and passion. The audience of Dil Se Dil Tak know very well how much Shorvori loves Parth and that whatever she is doing currently in the show is to shield him from the heart break of it all.
But the show aside lets talk about Rashami Desai’s Suhagan Avatar. Clad in a blood red saree with widely scattered golden sequence work Rashami looked every bit the part she plays. What made the look all the more authentic was the minimal accessories. With only a long single beaded mangalsutra, a pair of red and white bangles on either wrists and beautiful earrings Rashami Desai made Shorvori relatable to all the married women out there following the festival. With soft wavy curls and that every gorgeous smile Rashami looks stunning and nothing less than a bride.
